One of my fellow copycats, sometimesagreatnotion had to explain something:

“To the many people who are now claiming (in their re-blogs, etc) that this song was originally by Iron & Wine: you are completely wrong.  The song was originally written by The Postal Service.  Sam Beam (Iron & Wine) covered it.  Don’t make me tell you again!  If you’re gonna try and be a hipster, at least get your facts straight.”

To this I say: THE GARDEN STATE SOUNDTRACK WAS NOT THE FIRST ALBUM THAT EVER EXISTED.
