downtown Jersey City and Brooklyn are similar in many ways.
I was born and raised in Brooklyn, though I’ve become quite a fan of Jersey. The state is actually beautiful, it isn’t the garden state for nothing, you just have to drive a few miles in to see.. I’m pro Jersey City, living here for nine years now, it’s been a lot of fun watching the area evolve. I’m always trying to get New Yorkers over to this side of the Hudson just to see, though it’s not easy convincing.
Jersey City is beautiful. New York City elitism is a parody of itself. I love New York City as much as anyone, but don’t get your head so far up your own ass that you can’t appreciate the beauty just across the Hudson.
